JOB DETAIL
Work within an Architecture Development Team and collaborate with business partners to deliver Java software application solutions and systems changes
Write source code, adapt existing components, and test the developed components as units
Crafting test stubs and test data as necessary
Responsible for migrating code deliverables and technical solutions through the development, test and production environments.
Actively participate in backlog grooming, planning sessions, daily scrums, retrospectives, and any other team meetings
Promote process-improvement initiatives in an effort to improve team velocity
Correct any unexpected results and/or vulnerabilities within the system and related processes
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent training and experience.
6+ years total years of software development experience
5+ years of Java/J2EE development in an enterprise level environment
Experience with the following technologies: Spring Framework (versions 3 to 5, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration), myBatis/Hibernate ORM, XML/XSLT and Eclipse Platform
RESTful Web Services: Experience in designing and developing with Spring Boot and integration with JMS/AMQ/SQS
Enterprise Integration Patterns: Camel, or other middle-tier or backend solutions in an enterprise environment
Proficient in relational databases: Oracle (preferred), SQL Server or DB2, expertise with SQL / PLSQL creating queries and statements
Experience with AWS: SQS, PCF, Docker, EKS, Lambda, etc.
3+ years of Web UI development experience (Angular, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Node.js (plus))
3+ years working in an Agile/Scrum/Lean environment and using JIRA
2+ years of working in instrumentation capability to measure key system metrics (AWS CloudWatch)
Understanding of authentication/authorization frameworks and practices like OAuth 2.0

The Technology Group is responsible for delivering top quality scalable systems solutions for the Asset Management business functions within Fidelity Investments.
The technologies employed include the source fund accounting, pricing, tax and data exchange platforms.
The Technology Platform consists of Mainframe and Distributed Architecture as well as multiple interfaces both internal and external to the group.
